Direct Booking Terms & Conditions

THE BARN TEMPSFORD

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made directly with The Barn Tempsford via our website, email or telephone.


1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once we have received your booking request, the required deposit has been paid and we have issued a booking confirmation. The lead guest must be at least 18 years old.


2. Payments
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 5 days before arrival. Bookings made within 5 days of arrival require full payment.


3. Security Deposit
A refundable £200 security deposit is required before arrival and is normally returned within 24 hours of departure, subject to no damage, missing items or excessive cleaning.


4. Cancellations
More than 14 days before arrival: deposit refunded less a £25 administration fee. Within 14 days: payments are non-refundable unless the dates are successfully re-let.


5. Check-in & Check-out
Check-in from 4:00 pm. Check-out by 10:00 am. Direct bookings receive one complimentary hour of early check-in or late check-out (subject to availability). Additional time is charged at £10 per hour.


6. Occupancy
Maximum two adult guests.


7. Smoking
No smoking or vaping inside the property.


8. Pets
No pets permitted.


9. Guest Responsibilities
Leave the property clean and tidy, report damage, lock doors and windows, switch off lights, turn heating down to 16°C, empty the fridge and dispose of rubbish.


10. Noise
No parties or excessive noise. Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.


11. Chiminea
Use responsibly, never leave unattended and ensure it is extinguished after use. Logs are available for £10 per basket.


12. EV Charging
Charging electric vehicles from standard sockets is not permitted.


13. Lost Property
Items are retained for 14 days where possible. Return postage is payable by the guest.


14. Liability
Vehicles are parked at the owner's risk. Guests use the property and grounds at their own risk
except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
